Renee Leff is both a Juris Doctor in Law and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She has been certificated as an Infant Mental Health Specialist and additionally is certificated in Object Relations, Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, with an emphasis on Attachment, Trauma, and Children of Divorce. She has studied Sensorimotor Trauma and Developmental Psychology for three years and has studied Neuroscience extensively with Daniel Siegel and Allan Schore, both at the David Geffen School for Medicine at UCLA. She has been a guest lecturer at UCLA and adjunct faculty at CSUN and Phillips Graduate Institute.

 

Renee Leff is currently in private practice in Encino, in L.A.’s San Fernando Valley. She offers psychotherapy to children and adults who are going through divorce; she assists parents, attorneys, and custody evaluators in the creation of parenting plans which are age and need appropriate for children; she testifies as an expert witness on children and divorce, and she is a facilitator for teaching high-conflict parents how to co-parent.
